Description of Senior Geomodeller / Geomodeller An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative and busy team as a Senior Geomodeler, working on a Technical Audit of a very large mature field for our NOC client in Qatar.

Skills required for Senior Geomodeller / Geomodeller Ideally Candidates will meet the following criteria:
• 12+ years experience as a practicing G&G professional.
• At least the last 6 years as Modeler in an oil company, a large part of which should have been in integrated subsurface studies
• Experience in field development planning, well planning and reservoir management is essential.
• Strong experience in 3D reservoir modeling using Petrel, including quality check, evaluation, and running existing models for field development.
• Good background in Seismic interpretation, carbonate sedimentology, stratigraphy, facies modeling, and reservoir characterization studies with an understanding of up scaling and reservoir simulation.
• Preferable experienced in handling 4C Seismic data, anisotropy interpretation.
• Must have experience in handling of complex carbonate structure modeling.
• Must have experience in handling of extensive faults and fracture systems.
• Should be able to work independently with minimum supervision and high degree of independence.
• Have a proven ability to work effectively in teams and be able to communicate effectively with geophysicists, geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir and petroleum engineers.
• Fully conversant with Windows and UNIX based applications.
