Staff-Assurance (Ernst & Young Doha)

We are looking for the candidates with the following:
• Experience - At least one year of audit experience (Big four preferred)
• Qualification - Bachelor's degree with accounting major

You will need to:
• Demonstrate knowledge in data analysis tools - Execute simple data analysis requests on simple files
• Strive for Excellence - Responsible for what you do. Prepared to give extra effort when and where required.
• Maintain Professional Expertise - Reference, interpret and apply knowledge/standards/law effectively in moderately complex situations.
• Collect and Interpret Information - Identify anomalies and inaccuracies in data. Analyze the key issues, patterns, and trends to identify their implications. Draw conclusions supported by the evidence.
• Leverage Technology Resources Effectively - Effective technology usage. Adhere to all technology and information governance policies and procedures.
• Written and verbal Communication - Write with accuracy, brevity and clarity. Reinforce important messages with emphasis. Prepared to divert from prepared materials, when necessary. Active listening skills and engaging in further discussion
• Language: English - Listen: Understand standard speech encountered at work. Read: Understand texts that consist mainly of high frequency, everyday job related language.
• •Demonstrate knowledge in primary accounting framework (GAAP, Other Domestic or IFRS) and in related financial reporting matters - Understand what the baseline accounting knowledge means, how it applies and how it can be interpreted in different contexts. Apply knowledge to most ordinary types of business transactions in accordance with own primary accounting framework.
• Complete the work programme with little or no supervision on a small, low risk engagement.
