AutoCAD Draughtsman (AECOM)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings and material take-offs for water related structure under the guidance of the designated Manager
• Undertaking & managing allocated CADD production & other technical work tasks to agreed deadlines, standards (industry & project), and in accordance with the project plan.
• Providing 2D & 3D CADD Support to the project team;
• Setting up, Configuration & administration of projects involving multidisciplinary CADD applications mainly AutoCAD
• Monitoring day-to-day modeling activities, customizing & trouble shooting
• Monitoring CADD related procedures and ensuring proper implementation according to project requirements & corporate standards
• Coordinate and interface with other project discipline leaders
• Provides Estimates & Schedules

Qualification

A Certificate or Diploma (ITC/NCVT) in CAD Drafting required

Specific Skills required

• Experience with 3D Structural modeling
• Familiar with project work flow concepts
• Experience with databases
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in Microstation an advantage

Experience
7 to 10 years of experience, of which at least 2 years within the Middle East. Experience in the consulting industry desirable.
