EPKS Engineer (Control and FF/HART Specialist) (Honeywell)

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
• Act as a technical expert and discipline lead for control configuration support (including Foundation Fieldbus and HART implementations) at the Qatar Shell GTL site.
• Be responsible for supporting and training other members of the PAS Maintenance Team and Shell Operations with control configuration support (including Foundation Fieldbus and HART implementations) through daily activities and dedicated knowledge sharing sessions

Experience of working with live plant equipment in an operational environment (including online work)
You should have a high level of knowledge and practical hands on experience of:
• Troubleshooting all types of Experion PKS control strategy implementations
• Foundation Fieldbus Solution/Integration for EPKS
• HART Solution/Integration for EPKS
• Field Device Manager (FDM) and its integration with EPKS
You should have good working knowledge of:
• Where to find, and how to interrogate Experion and FDM System Logs, and Analysis tools.
• All Experion hardware and software configuration areas
• Windows 2003 Server and security issues
• Cisco based networks
You should have excellent problem solving skills, strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills in order to:
• Verify reported problems, create a hypothesis regarding the likely problem area, and apply a planned troubleshooting procedure to isolate the problem boundary.
Locate the issue causing the problem, propose a solution and identify the implications to the control system and process of implementing the solution.
• Intervene, guide and advise operations staff on the correct usage of the PAS
