Essential Responsibilities
• Maintain QC requirements in line with Company and specification requirements. Liaise with shop floor supervision and personnel to ensure accuracy of work carried out and that it has been correctly documented.
• Inspect and disposition items as required.
• Conduct dimensional, NDE & other forms of physical inspection & ensure documentation is correct & accurate.
• Complete book in process as items are completed.
• Liaise with customer, ICB and TP Inspection authorities as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Knowledge of QC techniques including dimensional checking & NDE
• Experience in reading manufacturing drawings and specifications
• Understanding of welding processes
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work either as a team or individually
• Inspection and metrology knowledge and techniques used
• Understanding of manufacturing drawings and specification, machining
• Knowledge of current standards & specifications
• Good interpersonal skills as a team player or individually
Knowledge of calibration requirements.
• Desired Characteristics Ability to read and apply established procedures.

• Mechanical Engineering diploma or equivalent
