Requirements: The principle activities of this role are reviewing structural shop drawings, design and specification development, recommending revisions and project planning in relation to the projects structural requirements.
To be successful in this role you would be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge in the following:
• Thorough understanding of local and international design codes and standards.
• Ability to use structural analysis and design software, preferably a combination of STAAD, ROBOT, ETABS, SAFE, ADAPT and AutoCAD.
• Recent experience gained on large tall tower mixed use, commercial, retail or hospitality construction projects, seeing these projects through all phases of construction.
• A history of both on-site contracting and consulting roles.
Qualification: A Degree in Structural Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering Major is required and membership of a professional institution would be beneficial.
Experience: Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous
